Microsoft Forms

What is the Microsoft Forms?

Microsoft Forms is a new part of Office 365 Education that allows teachers and students to quickly and easily create custom quizzes, surveys, questionnaires, registrations and more. When you create a quiz or form, you can invite others to respond to it using any web browser, even on mobile devices. As results are submitted, you can use built-in analytics to evaluate responses. Form data, such as quiz results, can be easily exported to Excel for additional analysis or grading.

Accessing your Microsoft Forms

First of all, access the link https://forms.office.com/

If you’re a student check if your organization has access to Office 365 benefits and try to log in Microsoft Forms to use it by clicking on “Sign up for free”

You’ll redirected to the following link, according to your Country code / locator URL

Enter your email address and click on “Get Started”

You’re almost there, now select your profile as Student or Teacher and go ahead!

On the next screen select “Sign in”

You’ll be redirected to your Office 365 Portal https://portal.office.com

Enter your login credential and password to use the Office 365 resources and Microsoft Forms

Click on “OK, got it” and on the next menu select Forms on the right top.

Selection resource becomes green on mouse selection

Click on it to use the Microsoft Forms

At the following screen we have 3 icons, from left to right we have “New Form, New Quiz” default options and the Forms or Quizzes already created (with their status).

Here you can see the Office 365 Survey I’ve create as a test.

At this moment at this form you can add more question, re-activated it and see data collected (the responses).

An excellent feature on the beginning of the “RESPONSE” section is the “Open in Excel”

All data is download in an Excel file (spreadsheet) where you can see and manipulate data as you want.
